cant get bucks to stop!!!!

i am having a problem with getting the big boys to stop for a shot for some reason. i have had 6 shooters in range since saterday, one was 5 yards!!! i have tried everything i can do to get them to stop to no success. the one at 5 yards i baaahed at him and he ran, guess he has heard that before, any suggestions?

maybe just yell out at him , maybe a human voice will get his attention
may make him run too

a lot of guys will mimic the grunt with their mouth and tends to stop em. I like making a sssppppttt sound (kinda like your getting your buddies attention). I've stopped 3 or 4 like this. It's not to startling but gets em' a lil curious... BOL

i have a very loud whistle(with my mouth) that i have stopped them with,It kinda startles them ,and they usually stop

I wouldn't yell. I would wistle. Haven't had a deer spook doing it.

I hate to say it but more times than not they are gonna run best bet is to hope they come back. What i am saying is do not make a noise maybe they will be going slower next time. Are you sure they did not just smell the alcohol from the palace?

thats why i hate the chase phase i love the early season and hunting over scrapes they stop at them almost every time. we saw a big boy locked on a doe while driving past spruce hollow yesterday by the way he was laying at the gas well in the golden rod.

did you try the kiss sound? the one your wife gives you when she wants something or you did when you were dating ,other wise known  as the mouse squeek when pred. hunting.

the kiss.............i like that, i will be sure to have it in arsenal for next season:) since our first season is over. 2nd season shouldnt really have that problem, but if i do, i will give'em a kiss and see how they like that:) thanks!!!!!!!!!!
