Indiana has NEW NON TYPICAL RECORD!!! ....And WORLD RECORD!!!!!!!!!

Deer was officially scored last night by a Boone and Crockett scorer.  The beast netted 309 7/8's.  This deer was taken in Huntington County and has knocked off the Legendary Switzerland County, Zolton Dobsa Buck from 1977 (scored 254 1/8th) as our new largest Indiana Non-Typical Buck ever taken in our state.

This would also be THEEE largest Non-Typical Net Score ever for a deer taken by a hunter in the world.  Others larger have been found.....but this would rank #1 taken by a hunter.  And here it happened in Indiana.........

A few pics.......but I'm sure we will be hearing alot more about this now that the "cat is out of the bag"......

Remember me telling you all this last summer that our very mild winter would "trump" our drought for racks being grown??  I rest my case..... :D

Hunter's Name is Tim Beck and a Statement released from Boone and Crockett..........

Beck Buck Comes in as #2 NT Hunter-taken Whitetail.

"The scoring procedure has been reviewed and after tine classification was verified this deer scores an amazing 305 7/8. Three tines originally scored as normal were deemed abnormal. On t...his particular head it took away 2/8 in deductions but when the H4 circumference measurements were taken with the correct classification the circumferences dropped a few inches resulting in a lower net score than the original posted 308 5/8. The final tally on this deer is 222 4/8 gross typical frame 93 7/8 in abnormals, and the reason that this buck’s final score ranks it as the largest non typical whitetail taken in the last decade and the second largest in hunter taken in history is that it only has 10 4/8 of deductions left to right."
