Bust-A-Buck offers a wide variety of both liquid and gel scents. Throughout the season I have found that I like certain products in the gel form above the liquid and vice-versa. Nothing has ever brought more bucks in closer during rut than B-A-B’s Doe-N-Estrus Gel. Upon entering the woods I would apply a strip of gel along the outside of my boots as I walked to the stand. I found that once I got to my stand the area I applied the gel was still wet assuring that I left the scent everywhere I walked. The Young Buck deer attractant has become a part of my deer hunting arsenal. While using this product I like to pair it with the Doe-N-Estrus Gel or Social Doe Spray depending on the time of season. I mostly use Young Buck to freshen up active scrapes or apply to a drag each and every time I step into the woods. With this product I do prefer the liquid form. It can be used as a cover scent and is considered non invasive to either sex. I have watched both buck and doe come in on the Young Buck scent trail, nose down! This scent can be used all season but I have found that it is unbeatable if used during, pre, and post rut combined with Doe-N-Estrus. An all around great lure is Social Doe. I’ve used it during the season on drags as well as in scent hangers around my stand. It’s great by itself or paired with any of the Bust-A-Buck products. Each bottle is filled from individual doe from the Bust-A-Buck herd unlike other companies that may have 5,10,15 or even more deer’s urine in one bottle. I do prefer the liquid over the gel Social Doe because I use it as a cover scent as well as a lure.
